I think it is in order to increase in value.
She says that she is not so easy. But if necessary, it's available. :-)

Zipper version puts importance on its function, the other version puts importance on its appearance.

Ouch!

Getting it caught in THAT zipper would hurt - it would be fun, but still painful.
