Description: Brooks' received an art education in Canada at the Vancouver School of Art (Vancouver, BC), the Nova Scotia School of Art and Design (Halifax, NS) and the Shepy International School of Art (Edmonton, AL). Portraiture and seascape have been enduring interests in his work. Recently he is exploring sexual identities by blurring gender and incorporating mythic imagery.
